Reef Magic Cruises - Outer Barrier Reef Cruises

Reef Magic Cruises is the perfect way to experience the Great Barrier Reef; especially if you have limited time. One comprehensive day trip takes you to one of sixteen locations on the outer Great Barrier Reef. 

The world's largest reef eco system, the Great Barrier Reef is World Heritage listed, also being on of the seven natural wonders of the world. 

Reef Magic is locally owned and operated and has been in service for over 20 years.  The fast and stable 22 metre catamaran has a cruising speed of 24 knots. Departure from Cairns is at Marlin Jetty at 9:00am, returning at 5:00pm.

Reef Magic also boasts a coral viewing vessel, specifically built so guests can view the many species of reef corals close up.  Return coach transfers are available from Cairns and the Northern Beaches as well as Port Douglas. 

Snorkellers are also welcome; the professional staff at Reef Magic give you full instruction on how to use your snorkelling gear.  The Marine Naturalist will give you a personalised tour of the reef as an optional extra. Introductory and Certified Divers are also catered for aboard Reef Magic.

• Onboard briefing including Great Barrier Reef Presentation by our Marine Naturalist
• Arrive at Reef 10.30am(approx.)

Diving - 2,3 and 4 Day Trips - For Divers

Reef Magic also offers 2, 3 and 4 Day Dive Trips to the outer reef areas, with more than 50 dive sites available. 2 Dives will take place each day, returning to Cairns each day.  Experience diving with turtles, white/black tipped reef sharks, manta rays, large maori wrasse in addition to some of the most fascinating marine life in the world. Both certified and non certified divers are welcome to join the dive trips.  Snorkelers are also welcome. Hire gear is available, or you have the option of bringing your own. Enjoy a fantastic few days on the reef!
