Cruise the Whitsunday Islands (otherwise known as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park) aboard the M.V. Enid.
The Whitsundays are on the fringe of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, and are home to many thousands of species of fish and other marine wildlife.
Take your first dive in our planet's largest living aquatic playground and fall in love with the aquatic realm beneath the deep blue water; the thrill of diving does not change from your first dive to your last.
Explore the magnificent Great Barrier Reef in comfort on spacious, uncluttered decks and surround by polished timber furniture and fittings.
The Enid was launched in 1961 and restored only in the last two years, 2002/2003. A 66ft ketch, the Enid has known 4 Sydney to Hobart races, and 15 Brisbane to Gladstone contests.
Everyone is catered for on the Enid; activities include bushwalking, diving, snorkelling and sailing.
Light clothing (warm clothing in cooler months), hat, lots of sunscreen, insect repellant, beach towel, favourite music, alcohol and lots of film for cameras.
The 22 metre ketch comfortably takes a maximum of 25 passengers and 3 crew. The Enid departs from Abel Point Marina on Thursday and Mondays at 9:30am, returning on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 4:00pm.
