Your Santa Maria 3 Day 2 Night adventure combines the unforgettable opportunity to see one of the Great Wonders of the World, with the romance of sailing aboard a traditional vessel. 

See the beautiful Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Port Douglas, and even take the opportunity to dive the underwater realm beneath the sparkling surface.

Santa Maria has the charm of a gaffrigged schooner built in the 1800's, and is made of hard wood using modern technology. Santa Maria is 20 metres long with a beam of 5.2 metres. 

The beautiful lines of the vessel will give you the unique feeling of nostalgia, adventure and romance. Comfortably accommodating a maximum of 10 passengers so you can experience that personalised attention not possible on bigger vessels.

Your Tour

Outer Reef locations that you may visit include Thetford Reef, Moore and Briggs reef, located approximately 40 kilometres east of Cairns, each of which offer varying dive or snorkel locations, with different coral formations and featuring a multitude of tropical fish life.

Activities

Apart from the relaxation, you can also take part in snorkeling. Snorkel in the warm, clear waters of the Coral Reef, by yourself or guided by our skilled crew. 

Masks and flippers are included in the price and available on request. You can also scuba dive on the reef, whether you are certified or just want an introductory dive. Night dives, swim throughs and drift dives are all possibilities.
