The Whitsundays are part of the Cumberland Group that form the largest group of Coastal Islands on the Australian Coast. In total There are 74 islands located right in the centre of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

Guests are welcome to assist 'hal Yard' and raise the massive sails ready to make the most of the prevailing Whitsunday breezes.

There's also the opportunity to take the helm and steer Solway Lass around the islands or to the next smooth water anchorage. Your tour aboard Solway Lass includes time to snorkel, dive, swim, sunbake and explore islands. While at anchor try our famous Tarzan rope swing, lay in the bow net or enjoy and icy cold drink from our fully licensed bar.

The Guest cabin area is comfortable with air conditioning, separate male/female bathrooms and 11 private double, twin or share cabins.

The cabins are appointed with brass lamps, cedar and oak timbers, personal reading lamps and comfy beds.

Locations are chosen to maximise enjoyment of the trip, and almost always include areas such as the northern tip of Hook Island, normally offering the very best in snorkelling conditions , and Whitehaven Beach, one of the premier icons of the Whitsundays.

When you're not sailing, you will have the opportunity to swim with the tropical fish and snorkel the fascination coral reefs. There's also time to explore the beautiful beaches and islands. Itineraries are flexible to best meet guest needs and prevailing weather conditions.
